Dried Flower FAQ
When will my online order be shipped?
Orders are processed and shipped according to our current production timeline. Please review our Shipping Policy for full details on processing times and delivery estimates.
How far in advance should I order wedding flowers?
You can place your wedding flower order at any time, but we recommend ordering as early as possible, especially during peak wedding season. If you place your order early, simply leave a note at checkout with your wedding date and preferred delivery month. We will schedule production accordingly.
How should I store my dried flowers before my wedding?
Store bouquets upright in a jar or vase in a dry location away from direct sunlight to keep them picture perfect for months.
DIY and Bulk flowers can be stored upright in their original shipping box until ready to use.
Do you offer custom wedding flower orders?
Yes. We offer minor customizations for our wedding flower collections. Visit our Get Started page to learn more about available options.
How long do dried flowers last?
Dried flowers remain beautiful for years when properly cared for and kept away from direct sunlight and humidity.
How do I care for dried flower arrangements?
Dried flowers require very little maintenance. Do not water them. Occasionally remove dust using a blow dryer on a cool, low setting. For best longevity, keep arrangements away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
How do you dry your flowers?
Flowers are harvested at the optimal time and naturally air-dried on racks to retain their vibrant color. This drying process typically takes 2–4 weeks.
How do you preserve greens so they look and feel fresh?
We use a preservation process that replaces the water inside the greens with our proprietary plant-based preservative. This allows the greens to maintain a soft texture and fresh-like appearance without needing water or sunlight.
Do you grow your own flowers?
Yes. We grow and wild-harvest many of our flowers. Sustainability is a priority for our family business. Because demand now exceeds what we can grow, we also partner with trusted flower farmers across the United States who share our quality standards.
Do you use silk or artificial flowers?
No. We use only natural products. In addition to dried flowers and preserved greens, we also incorporate eco-friendly materials such as handmade mulberry paper roses and sola wood flowers.
Do you ship dried flowers internationally?
Yes. We ship to Canada and Europe. Buyers are responsible for shipping costs and any customs duties or import taxes. Please contact us for a shipping quote.
Do you preserve fresh wedding or memorial flowers?
Yes. Our preservation branch, Preserved Petals by Dried Flowers Forever, offers professional fresh flower preservation services for wedding bouquets and memorial flowers. Services and pricing can be found at preserved-petals.com
